How do I choose a living room rug size?

Measure the seating area and mark the proposed rug outline with tape. A useful starting point is a rug wide enough for the front legs of your sofa and chairs to rest on it. Compare the actual measurements of 200 × 290 cm and 240 × 330 cm rugs with your furniture; room size alone does not determine the best fit. Use the rug size guide →

What size rug goes under a dining table?
